Sewer Line Replacement on Oak Park Avenue, East York, Toronto

A detailed sewer camera inspection identified a damaged section of the existing drain at this Oak Park Avenue property in East York. The condition of the sewer line required a combination of traditional basement excavation and trenchless pipe bursting to replace the damaged drainage system while minimizing disruption to the surrounding property.

The Pryde Group Corp. team removed and replaced approximately seven feet of sewer pipe inside the basement. We also installed a new cleanout to provide convenient access for future sewer inspections, drain cleaning, and maintenance.

After completing the interior drain replacement, our crew used trenchless pipe bursting technology to replace the underground sewer line from the property to the city connection. A durable new HDPE sewer pipe was installed and connected using approved fittings.

The completed system was properly bedded with clear stone and fully tested to confirm reliable drainage performance. Our team then restored the basement floor with new concrete, cleaned the work area, and left the space ready for use.
