Complete Sewer Line Replacement & Pipe Bursting at Marquis St, St. Catharines, ON

The sewer drainage system at this Marquis St property in St. Catharines required a complete upgrade both inside the home and outside the property. The project involved replacement of aging interior sewer piping, removal of the existing building trap, replacement of two main sewer stacks, installation of a new floor drain, and trenchless replacement of the exterior sewer section.

The Pryde Group Corp. crew replaced approximately 40 feet of old sewer piping inside the basement. The interior work included replacement of two main sewer stacks, removal of the existing building trap, and installation of a new floor drain. The new underground sewer piping was installed with proper connections and gravel bedding, and the opened sections of the basement floor were restored with new concrete.

Outside the home, our team excavated two access pits and replaced approximately 20 feet of the underground sewer line using pipe bursting technology. This trenchless method allowed the damaged sewer section to be replaced with a new pipe while limiting the amount of excavation required across the property.

The completed project provided a full upgrade of the property’s main sewer drainage system, including new interior and exterior piping, updated sewer connections, proper bedding, and concrete restoration.
