Exterior Foundation Waterproofing at Glen Manor Drive, Toronto, ON

By: Pryde Group Corp Service: Exterior Waterproofing Location: Toronto, ON Completed: July 2026

Project Overview

This Toronto home showed visible signs of moisture around the foundation, indicating that water was reaching the exterior foundation walls. Due to the condition of the property, full exterior waterproofing was selected as the most effective long-term solution for protecting the basement and foundation from water intrusion.

The project required excavation down to the footing, foundation wall preparation, crack protection, and the installation of a complete waterproofing and drainage system designed to redirect groundwater away from the home.

Work Completed

The Pryde Group Corp. crew fully excavated the foundation walls down to the footing. The exposed surfaces were thoroughly cleaned, inspected, and repaired before the waterproofing materials were installed.

A professional waterproofing membrane was applied to protect the foundation walls from moisture penetration. A high-quality dimple membrane was then installed to provide an additional protective layer and improve long-term drainage performance around the foundation.

Our team also installed new weeping tile, also known as a French drain, surrounded by clean drainage stone. This foundation drainage system helps collect groundwater and redirect it away from the home, reducing hydrostatic pressure against the foundation walls.

After the exterior foundation waterproofing, crack protection, membrane installation, dimple board installation, and drainage work were completed, the excavation was prepared for proper backfilling. Every stage of the project was carried out according to industry standards to provide reliable, long-lasting protection against basement moisture and water intrusion.
