Trenchless Sewer Replacement & Backwater Valve Installation at Teakwood Grove, Toronto, ON

The underground sewer line at this Teakwood Grove property in Toronto required replacement to restore reliable drainage and improve protection against sewer backups. To minimize excavation and disruption to the property, trenchless pipe bursting technology was used to replace approximately 35 feet of the existing sewer line. A new backwater valve was also installed inside the basement as part of the drainage upgrade.

The Pryde Group Corp. crew prepared the required access points and replaced approximately 35 feet of underground sewer pipe using pipe bursting technology. The new sewer line was pulled into place and securely connected to the existing drainage system while keeping excavation to a minimum.

Inside the basement, our team installed a new backwater valve to help protect the property from sewage backing up through the drainage system. The new piping was supported with proper gravel bedding, all connections were completed, and the interior excavation was restored with concrete after the sewer and drainage work was finished.
