Sewer Line Replacement & Backwater Valve Installation at Fourth Ave, Niagara Falls, ON

The main sewer line at this Fourth Ave property in Niagara Falls required replacement due to damage within the existing underground pipe. To replace approximately 30 feet of sewer line while minimizing disturbance to the property, pipe bursting technology was selected instead of conventional full-trench excavation. The project also included a new backwater valve to help protect the home from future sewer backups.

The Pryde Group Corp. crew excavated two exterior access pits and used pipe bursting technology to pull a new sewer pipe through the existing underground line. This trenchless approach allowed approximately 30 feet of the main sewer line to be replaced without opening a continuous trench across the property.

A new underground sewer connection was completed, and a backwater valve was installed in front of the house to provide additional protection against sewer backups. After installation, the new sewer line received a final inspection to confirm proper operation and complete the project.
