80-Foot Trenchless Sewer Line Replacement at Sugarloaf Street, Port Colborne, ON

A sewer inspection at this Sugarloaf Street property in Port Colborne revealed severe tree root intrusion and significant damage inside the existing underground sewer line. Due to the length and condition of the damaged pipe, an approximately 80-foot sewer line replacement was required. Pipe bursting technology was selected to install a new sewer line while minimizing excavation and disruption to the property.

The Pryde Group Corp. crew performed access excavation and used pipe bursting technology to replace approximately 80 feet of the damaged underground sewer line. This trenchless method allowed the new sewer pipe to be installed without excavating the entire length of the existing line.

The project included removal of damaged pipe sections, installation of the new sewer line, secure connections, cleanout access, and proper gravel bedding to support the new piping. Once the sewer replacement was completed, the excavated areas were carefully backfilled and restored, leaving the property with a reliable new underground sewer line and minimal surface disruption.
