Sump Pump & Interior Weeping Tile Installation at Chapman Court, St. Catharines, ON

The homeowner at this Chapman Court property in St. Catharines was experiencing groundwater concerns in the basement. To improve drainage and reduce the risk of water accumulation below the basement floor, an interior weeping tile system combined with a new sump pump system was selected as a reliable long-term solution.

The Pryde Group Corp. crew opened sections of the concrete basement floor and installed a new interior weeping tile drainage system around the foundation area. The drainage pipe was positioned below the floor to collect groundwater and direct it toward a newly installed sump pit.

A new sump pump was installed and connected to exterior discharge piping so collected groundwater can be safely pumped away from the home. After the drainage system was completed, the trench was backfilled with stone and the concrete floor was restored.
